This is Our Time To Make a Difference. Together, We Will.

Three old friends

Seems like yesterday you were just starting out and had your whole life ahead of you. Then, you woke up one day and realized there’s more time behind you than ahead — and your priorities have changed. What matters now is maximizing the time you have left. Making a difference. Living significantly. Leaving a legacy. Finishing well.

If you’re like many men at this stage in their lives, this can feel like a daunting challenge. You honestly don’t know where to start. The good news is you’re not alone.

At Finish Well, we’re a group of retired and pre-retirement Christian men who have joined together to make the absolute most of this time in our lives. Together, we can encourage, guide and support one another to use the gifts and skills God has given each of us to make the greatest impact.

We don’t have all the answers to how we’ll do the most good in our later years. But we’re passionate, dedicated and confident that working together, we will uncover many brilliant, effective and inspired ways to make a difference and finish well.

Job 42:12

The Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning…

Grow With Us

We Multiply

Grow God’s Kingdom and Glorify God

Finish Well event

We are growing God’s kingdom by finding unique and impactful opportunities to glorify God.

  • 1 Partnering with other churches and non-profits to work together to complement men’s ministry efforts.
  • 2 Establishing new small groups across the city of similar age and stage of life which encourage weekly meetings, prayer, and accountability within the group.
  • 3 Sponsoring, co-sponsoring or hosting events and service projects to reach out to more men and non-believers.
  • 4 Offering networking opportunities for men through matching with The Center, YBL, or local churches.

Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

We Minister

Grow Men Spiritually to Leave a Godly Legacy

Ministering

We are working to help men grow spiritually and leave a godly legacy by reminding them that God isn’t finished with them yet, and they can still make a significant difference.

  • 1 Providing a Christian foundation framework for individuals and new small groups.
  • 2 Hosting, creating, or participating in seminars that explore the challenging issues men face during this stage in their lives including retirement, health, self-identity, aging parents, death, finances, and caregiving.
  • 3 Helping men adjust to, find significance in, and Finish Well in life beyond retirement by utilizing their wisdom, relationships, and resources to leave a positive legacy.

Philippians 1:6

“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the Day of Jesus Christ.”

We Mobilize

Giving Back and Loving Others

Finish Well meeting

Working together, we can find and create many opportunities to give back to our communities, show our love for others, and live as faithful, dedicated servants.

  • 1 Creating and offering Christian educational and inspirational programs that will attract and interest men.
  • 2 Hosting large rally events with keynote speakers to encourage participation.
  • 3 Providing service opportunities in the local communities and with other regional service partners such as Grace Klein, Christian Service Mission and others.
  • 4 Helping men find their gifting and calling and think long-term about how to maximize their positive impact.

Matthew 25:40

“…as you did it to the least of these my brothers, you did to Me.”
